    I have been involved with the S.A.D.D club since 9th grade, and have been the treasurer for 3 years. I enjoy being an active member, volunteering for different events community, like the Halloween party, as well as setting up our school events, such as lock-in and the Christmas dance.

    This year, I have participated in the senior video yearbook as a videographer and scriptwriter. This club was a great responsibility and allowed me to show my creativity, as well as learn to work well with my peers.

    A Christmas Carol

    Last year, I participated in the French IV play, A Christmas Carol. I had a lot of fun being able to write the script and be a narrator, presenting the play to the high school before Christmas break.

    SUPA Economics

    Term Paper

    My junior year I enrolled as a SUPA student for the Economics class. For our final paper I chose to research new energy sources, and learned a lot our environment and the Earth's scarce resources, as well as solutions for fixing this crucial problem.

    Algebra 2 /Trigonometry Regents

    90 score on regents

    This was by far my biggest accomplishment over the course of my high school career. After struggling in the class, I decided to get a tutor in order to save my grade. After practicing and receiving a 90 on my regents, I realized my tutor and good grade had given me confidence I needed, which I can then carry on to my future math classes; as well as boosted my academic self esteem.

    Posi Cards

    I have been able to show my accomplishments in the subject of science by earning Mr. Oliver's "posi cards", representing an outstanding test grade. Science has been my favorite subject throughout my career as a student, and the support and encouragement from my science teachers has inspired me to pursue a career in medical science.

    Varsity Swimming

    Coaches Award and All-Star

    I have been very grateful throughout my swimming career to be able to receive 4 All-Star awards for achievement, as well as receive the coaches award this past year for showing leadership and always helping others on the team.

    Salvation Army

    Bell Ringing

    I have participated in the Salvation Army bell ringing for four years. This event is very important to me, being able to serve my community and also being able to see other citizens be generous and donate during the holiday season.

    Prom Commitee

    My junior year, I had the pleasure to help organize TI's prom. I was very happy to be a part of creating this magical night and had fun with all of my friends while participating.

    TIHS Theatre Orchestra

    String Ensemble/Cello

    In 2017, I participated as a cellist in the orchestra pit for TI's school play: "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee". It was a great experience that tested by skills as a musician, and I loved being a part of the production.

    My junior year I participated in MOAS. I loved being able to collaborate with my partner in order to present our resolution on solving poverty in Jamaica by educating prisoners and preparing them for the workforce.

    For all of my high school career I have taken many different art classes. I have excelled in many, being able to be placed in art shows, as well as winning contests such as the Clayton Opera House cover contest.

    Chemistry Experiment

    The Effects of Temperature on the Rate of Developing Instant Film

    This was one of my biggest accomplishments in my Honors Chemistry class junior year. This experiment and project board made me become a more independent student, and taught me to "think outside the box" in order to create something no one else had done in that class before.

    Published in Newspaper and 2017 Yearbook

    While taking classes such as Digital Photography and Traditional Photography/Developing, I have been able to display my personality through my art piecesces. These classes have showed me my true abilities as an artist, and have rewarded me through my pictures being published in yearbooks, newspapers and art galleries.

    12 years

    Dancing has always been a huge part of my life. It has taught me how to express myself and not care so much about what others think of me; as the quote goes.. "dance like nobody's watching!"

    Student Activists For The Environment

    S.A.F.E

    Having love for the environment, I was very glad that this club was established this year. We have done many activities in order to help our community, from placing more recycling bins around school, to creating awareness for endangered species like bees by hosting a Bee Carnival for kids.

    National School Walkout

    March 14, 2018

    A student-led memorial that honored the 17 victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas school shooting. Helping to lead this walkout with my friends opened my eyes to some of the problems both nationally and globally, and also helped shape who I am as a person.

    Lifeguarding

    2015-Present; Clayton Pool and TIHS Pool

    I have been a lifeguard for 4 years now, and it has taught me many crucial skills for the work force and for life in general. It has made be become a more reliable, hard-working person and has taught me good time-management and organization. Along with lifeguarding, I have been able to teach swimming lessons to young kids, which has taught me patience and has really shown my love for working with children.

    This award was given to one senior from each high school in the Frontier Swimming League. I was very touched that my coach Mr. Benner thought of me as a recipient for this award.

    Junior year I was the recipient of the St. Lawrence Aubserbery Scholarship out of many applicants throughout our school. This award is very special to me, since I was hand-pick by faculty members as a hard-working, reliable student.
